Spring Issues

If your dog has any issues with water and you don't want them to go to the pond when they are here, please let us know.  There are definitely other places that they can play, but we like to know ahead of time if they can't go swimming.

Also if your pup has sensitive feet and may not do well on gravel areas please let us know.  We monitor dogs at all times and if we notice one having issues we'll definitely take care of it.  Some of our community yards that are used for potty breaks and some daycare play are pea gravel, but some are also grass.  We would just make adjustments if you pup had tender toes.

Unfortunately the mosquitoes are in full bloom!  If you are coming out to use the parks we definitely recommend that you use some form of bug repellent.  We have a natural recipe one that we will use on the dogs if they seem to be bothered.  It is made of witch hazel, citronella, lemongrass, and tea tree.

Enjoy this beautiful weather!  Thank you for giving your dog somethin' to bark about today!

DayStar of the Month ~ April 2014

This month we are happy to share a super sweet, gentle giant with you.  Mr. Beauregard Corbin was voted as the DayStar of the Month for April!  Beau is a big Mastiff boy that started coming to us May of 2013.  Believe it or not, he was slightly small when he started and he sure has grown into a wonderful boy!  We are pretty sure that he doesn’t realize how big he is because he tries to bounce and play with some of the other dogs.  One great example is when he thought he could catch up with Bronco, a beagle, on their run.  Bronco took off like a speedy light and Beau did all he could to catch him and just plumb tuckered himself out.  He definitely got an “A” for effort on that attempt.  His size can definitely be intimidating for anyone who doesn't know him, but deep down he’s a big softy with a sweet heart.  We are so happy to share that Mr. Beauregard Corbin has been unanimously voted as the DayStar of the Month for April 2014!  Congrats big guy!!
