Dog Star Ranch wants to give all dogs somethin' to bark about and we are very proud to share some numbers with you (1/1/2012 to 12/26/2012)! Our goal is to help all dogs become wonderful canine citizens, help newly adopted or rescued dogs to make the transition into a home setting, help keep dogs in their homes, and help dogs find their forever homes. Thank you for your support of Dog Star Ranch and helping us support local rescue organizations and their efforts!
A. When someone adopts a dog through a rescue, we offer discounts to help them with the transition of their new family member. We offer a discount to use the parks, first free grooming, and free training options. We also offer discounts to volunteers of these rescues for their own dogs as a thank you for their support and help. This number is the value for the services that DSR donated to this program!
B. The Dog Star Ranch My Way Home (MWH) Program works with Pound Buddies by bringing on a few dogs at a time to DSR, allowing them time to unwind and be a dog, teaching them manners and basic skills, and helps find their forever home. We currently have two girls in this program - Baylee and Layla. To learn more about the program, check out dogstarranchmywayhome.blogspot.com. This number is the donation that DSR has done so far this year to the MWH program!
C. Dog Star Ranch works closely with rescues, such as Pound Buddies and the Humane Society, providing services such as free daycare for foster dogs and training evaluations and help when needed. This number is the amount of services DSR has donated to these programs to help foster and adoptable dogs be ready to find their new home!
D. And this value, $24,154.79 is the Grand Total (as of 12/26/2012) that Dog Star Ranch has donated in services and support to local rescue programs, newly adopted dogs, and the MWH program!! We are very proud to share this with you and thank you for your support of our efforts at DSR and the efforts and time of the local rescues! We hope that 2013 is just as successful and we are able to help more dogs find their forever families and more families find their forever friends!!
Merry Christmas to you all and may you all have a wonderful start to the 2013 year!!
Today we were so happy to have 43 Doggie DayStars here today for daycare! They joined the 14 boarding guests and made full use of a sunny day! What a wonderful way to spend a Thursday! And the Star Buddies had so, so much fun that the camera came back up to the front desk with 192 photos on it! I did weed some of them out, but here are the remaining 65. Enjoy!

Consider DSR’s Structured Doggie Daycare program!
Through this program, your dog will still greatly enjoy

discouraging jumping up at the humans… This
is great for pups, older ones that may need a refresher, or to reinforce what
