Rain or Shine, Spring Break has found DSR!

Sure is great seeing all the happy faces here today in Daycare!

It may have been a rainy day today but the dogs still had alot of fun outside on their walks!

Spring is officially here!!

Today we welcomed Zalla-Ske the husky in the photos above, it is her first time in the Daycare program and is lovin’ it! The fog was so crazy this morning that it may have affected our pictures but didn’t stop the pups from still having a good time outside!

Today we welcomed Juno a newfoundland into the daycare program! He loved splashing around in the pond and meeting all the other daycare pups!

Today all the pups got to enjoy the pond, some went all the way in and some just tested the water! Sure is looking more and more like Spring!

Today we also got a nice big shipment of 81 pounds of raw bones that are cut into 4 inches, along with new slip leads in many different colors!! Come check them out!!

What a beautiful and warm day we have today! Don’t forget the ponds are now open so stop on out and enjoy the parks and the ponds!

Spring into Action DSR Facebook Contest!

We had so much fun with our February Facebook Contest that we’d like to have another one, but you have some homework ahead of you! To submit your photo for the contest, please email the picture along with the dog’s name to jenn@dogstarranch.com. If you wish to “caption” your photo send that along with and I’ll make sure to post that caption along with the pup’s name!

Spring into Action Facebook Contest Rules:

1. No humans in the picture, but can have as many dogs as you’d like!

2. Photo MUST be taken somewhere at Dog Star Ranch! Not a park member or new to DSR park systems, make sure use a Free Daypass to the 48 acres of fenced in dog parks, ponds, and nature trails! Does your dog do doggie daycare and you see a photo you want to use from the blog? Let us know and we’ll post it on your behalf!
3. The photo in the “Spring into Action Contest” photo album with the most “Likes” will be the DSR profile picture for the month of April! Let’s show everyone how DSR gives dogs of all shapes and sizes somethin’ to bark about!!

** Contest ends on March 31, 2012 at 9:00 am and the winning picture will become the DSR profile picture by 12:00 pm that day! Start sending them in as I can’t wait to see what you’ll share!!

You heard correctly!! We have a birthday party going on at Doggie Daycare today! Happy, Happy Birthday to Mr. Copper!! He is now five years old! Thank you for celebrating your birthday here with all your pals!!

March 7th

What a difference in the weather!! We had snow yesterday and now it feels alot like spring today!! Here is a photo of the ponds below!! Looks like it is time to open them up!

March 2nd

Welcome to DSR doggie daycare Dobby!

So today was Dobby's first day at doggie daycare at DSR and his first ride in the Dog-Gone-Waggin'! He started out in the dog section with the other kids, Patt got out to pick up a couple, and came back to the van with Dobby riding shot gun! The photo below is his ride home at the end of the day... Thanx for visiting with us Dobby!
